Garden Journal Flip Through ~ Flowering Fridays

Hello darlings!

In today's instalment of Flowering Fridays, I am flipping through my garden journal and showing you how I planned it out.

I have so many different notebooks and journals, now I have this one! But it's really fun to document the progress of a garden.

First I have a simple title page.
I love this thin washi tape and I use it throughout my journal to add colour and section off parts of a page.


On this page, I have a little shopping list and a flower wishlist, where I write down all the flowers I want to have in my garden.
The quote is from the movie This Beautiful Fantastic (which is the perfect garden lovers movie as it is all about a garden and has many beautiful shots of flowers), that I really loved and copied in here.


Next, there is a log for this season, which is Autumn at the moment. This is where I keep track of all my activity in the garden. 


These pages consist of a running list of each flower I plant, so I know what I have. 
Currently, I have, Baby's Breath, Daffodils, Hyacinths, Cornflowers, Calendula, Carnations, Rudbeckia, and Foxgloves and Dahlias are starting off in a seed tray.


The following three pages are all a collage of flowery photos that I cut from magazines to create a kind of mood board or inspiration board.

This is my favourite page!


Then I just have a place where I can gather little tips and care advice for the flowers.

Top 10 Things That Make Me Happy

Joy, happiness and laughter are very important things. I can't imagine what it would be like if I lived without them. But what it is that brings you happiness is also important. Think about it, what makes you happy? Being with family, playing video games, getting praised, winning at sport, books? It is important that the right things bring us happiness than not so good things. These are the things that make me happy! 1. I love to be around friends. I am quite an extrovert! Social activities, parties, get togethers, it's nice to have a good time with nice people and it makes me happy. 2. Happy couples in movies and books. Always brings a smile to my face. What's on My Spring Wardrobe Wishlist

I have been thinking about my wardrobe lately and how I want to curate it more carefully and also invest in good quality pieces that will last. At the moment I am working on my Spring-Summer wardrobe and I have noticed there are definitely some gaps I need to fill. My wardrobe has quite a bit of colour and pattern, but I feel like I am lacking some good basics to tie everything together.. So a lot of this little wishlist is really just some basics to help streamline my entire wardrobe! I hope this will offer some inspiration and ideas for your own spring wardrobe and be sure to let me know in the comments what pieces you are looking for for your own wardrobe! a linen skirt with buttons down the front I would love to add some more skirts to my wardrobe and I think that a simple plain coloured linen one with buttons down the front would be a great addition.
