Hello!



My name is Hannah and I am a young Christian woman who lives in the beautiful little country of New Zealand. I am the oldest of 8 children which makes for a very interesting life! 

You will often find me reading, taking photos, writing for this blog, decorating my room, or baking.
I love period dramas, old books, flowers, receiving letters, being outside, painting & drawing, studying the Bible, the countryside, and cooking & trying new recipes.

My intentions for this blog are to inspire & encourage but also to just share snippets of my life with you.
I hope that you will join me on this journey of walking with Christ as a young woman.
Let us grow together as feminine, godly, kind, graceful and loving women in a world where the love of Christ is needed so desperately!

Wow, August has come to an end already! I am so excited that Spring is basically here now. The sunny weather and longer days have really done something to my creative juices, which seemed to be hibernating during winter and now there are awake and flowing again. Books The Beautiful Pretender by Melanie Dickerson My goodness, I enjoyed this book so much! I have a full review in the works but I definitely had to mention it in this post. What's on my Autumn Wardrobe Wishlist

  Summer is slowly coming to an end and I'm gearing up for the cooler weather by thinking about my autumn wardrobe. I'm planning a little thrifting trip in the next few weeks so I'm hoping I'll be able to find at least a few of these pieces while I'm there.  One of my wardrobe goals for the past couple of years has been to simplify & make it more minimal by slowly adding more basics and colours that easily mix & match with one another. So I kept this idea in mind while I'm putting together this list.  I've noticed that what's lacking in my autumn wardrobe is more tops rather than bottoms.  You can easily get away with only a few bottoms but it's usually the top you're wearing that people notice. So its good to have a little variety!  With all that being said, here are a few things I'm hoping to add to my autumn closet this season.                                                                       She stood there. Watching. Waiting and dreaming.  Watching the wind toss the branches of the trees. Waiting in the stillness. And dreaming of things still to come. She adored the sweet solace she found on that quiet hill.  How the dainty flowers that grew there, bobbing back and forth in the breeze. For many years she had come here and always to escape the crowd. How they pushed and pulled her; it filled her head with fog.
