I created a Book Tag!!

The Book Series Tag

💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮

So I came up with this tag randomly last night while I was snuggled up in bed. Don't ideas come at the strangest times?
There I was scribbling down these questions as I thought of them and here it is!

Rules:
Complete the questions
Tag 1 other person
Mention their blog or channel

A series that has taken you a long time to finish
I would love to one day finish the 'Mandie' series by Lois Gladys Leppard
It has like 40 books in it guys!

One book in a series that you thought was better than the rest of the series
Even though I haven't actually finished this series I really like the 2nd book in the 'Weddings By Design' series by Janice Thompson better than the first.

An aesthetically pleasing series that you own or want to own
Again the 'Weddings By Design' series. I need to own these!
The spines are also fun and bright!

Do you like series' or stand-alones better?
It depends really.
A stand-alone can be nice because it doesn't link up to anything and you don't feel like you have to continue but series are nice because you can get to know the characters better because you are with them longer. *sigh*

A series with cliffhangers
I can't think of one or I haven't read any yet.

A series on your TBR
The 'Hagenheim' series by Melanie Dickerson

Do you like series' to be numbered or not?
It is helpful if it does have the numbers on the spines so yes I do prefer it.

Name a the 1st book in a new series that hasn't been published yet
'Dangerous Illusions' by Irene Hannon

Which series cover change bothers you the most?
Though I have yet to read this series yet, the 'Medieval Fairytale' series by Melanie Dickerson
Do you prefer hardback or paperback series?
I know a few nice hardcover series but I generally prefer paperback so I'll have to say paperback.

Name a book series you have read that was also made into a movie series
'Little House on the Prairie' by Laura Ingalls Wilder
I am currently trying to collect my own copies of this wonderful series.

I love these editions! I got these from a book sale and they are a bit old and tattered but it makes me love them more.

A book series that you didn't start with the 1st book
'Men of Valour' series by Irene Hannon
I read the 2nd book in this series 'Thin Ice' first because I didn't realise that it was the 2nd book.

A book series you are due to reread
'Little House on the Prairie' by Laura Ingalls Wilder, yes it's been years since I have visited these wonderful stories about 'Half- Pint' and her life.

There you have it folks, my very own book tag!

I tag:

BooksforChristianGirls is a great blog where Lindsey posts new book reviews every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. She has a great reviewing system helping you to find faith-filled books without having to search for hours.
Lindsey also has a Youtube channel where she films fun bookish videos every Thursday!

A Book tag

The TBR tag

💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮💮

I love book tags!
I love watching them on Youtube and I have wanted to do one for a while now.
Nobody tagged me to do this but I thought I would do it anyway so here goes!
(i do not know you created this but shout out to you, whoever you maybe).

How do you keep track of your TBR?
I found Goodreads a while ago now and have been using it and loving it ever since!

Is your TBR mostly print or e-book?
I have a strong dislike of digital books sooo...my TBR is all prints, unless I saved the e-book version without realising it.

A book that's been on your TBR the longest
Ummm....the book that's been on my Goodreads to-read shelf the longest?
'No Other Will Do' by Karen Witemeyer is on the bottom of that shelf.

A recently added book to your TBR
'A Christmas Carol and Other Writings' by Charles Dickens

A book on your TBR strictly because of the cover
I don't read books just because the cover is great. Yes, the cover has a lot to do with whether or not I read the synopsis but that's what the covers are supposed to do right? Draw you in to investigate further!
So for this one it's a book where the cover pulled me in and I really liked it.
'Blackmoore' by Julianne Donaldson

A book on your TBR that you don't plan on reading
Why would a book really be on your TBR if you don't want to read it?
Anyway, for this I'll pick: 'A Plain Death' by Amanda Flower

An unpublished book on your TBR that you're excited for
'A Place at Our Table' by Amy Clipston

A book on your TBR that every ones read but you
'The Hobbit' by J.R.R Tolkein

A book on you TBR that everyone recommends to you
I get most of my recommendations from Lindsey @ BooksforChristianGirls .
So yeah....I don't have a book for this one.

A book on your TBR that you are dying to read
Um..like.. most of them!

How many books are on your Goodreads TBR shelf?
295 (CURRENTLY)

So that was fun, I hope you enjoyed it.
I will be back next Monday with a fresh new post for you!

It won't be about coffee though! *wink*
