This new blog is specifically for book reviews and most book-related posts. I'll still post some book tags and such here on Joy & Wildflowers but I just wanted to dedicate a whole blog to book reviews. (Don't ask me why I don't really know myself!)

June Favourites & Wrap-Up

via Unsplash Hello darlings! It's hard to believe we are already in the middle of the year of 2019! I almost forgot about posting this months favourites but now I am getting to it, if not a little late. June went by so fast. The Winter days have been lovely, with clear blue skies and crisp air. The morning frosts are magical when the sunshine glistens on the icy landscape. BOOKS  I am going to change thing up a bit here. Starting this month I'll share a wrap-up of all the books I read in that month and then tell you which books were my favourites! In the month of June I read/finished a total of six books! Wow, August has come to an end already! I am so excited that Spring is basically here now. The sunny weather and longer days have really done something to my creative juices, which seemed to be hibernating during winter and now there are awake and flowing again. Books The Beautiful Pretender by Melanie Dickerson My goodness, I enjoyed this book so much! I have a full review in the works but I definitely had to mention it in this post. It's like the second book its series(Medieval Fairytale series). I have just started the third and final book, The Noble Servant and it is equally as intriguing as The Beautiful Pretender. And the cover of TBP....so pretty! Sarah, Plain, and Tall by Patricia MacLachlan This book has become a new all-time favourite of mine! I found this on audiobook on my library's app and since I'd seen the movies a long time ago I decided to give it a go and get a boost on my Goodreads reading challenge.
